Résumé
Robert Crahmer (*1986, Lutherstadt Wittenberg) is a photographer and ultra-contemporary multimedia artist based in Berlin. He has been working under the pseudonym Rob ≠ Chamber since 2016.
R. has been working and collaborating almost exclusively in the Berlin independent art and fashion scene, while developing a personal. eclectic photographic style range. Thematically, Crahmer claims, the work deals with introspective questions relating to identity, repression, belonging and the Eros principle.
His work oscillates between staged theatricality and ironic abstraction, between überstylization and intended deconstruction. His visual language, which wants to be understood as an attempt to revolt against conventional viewing habits, has earned him international niche recognition and mutual support of collaborators.
